Principles for Writing Effective Reports

Writing is an integral part of almost all jobs in business and administration.  Unfortunately, it is often regarded as a very unpopular activity by many whose work requires such skills.  A lack of motivation to write well may derive from the writer's inadequate skill base, a low level of confidence in writing ability, and/or a lack of previous success in writing.

High levels of writing skill breed an ethic of efficient communication within and between organisations.  The development of such skills is an investment of real commercial value to both companies and individuals.
