After completing this course, students will know how to:

the importance of negotiation in the contractor selection process.
- Administer a contract, identify contract administration
structures, identify the elements of contract administration, and close out a contract.
- Measure data during project integration, differentiate between
project and product life cycles, identify the importance of developing a project plan, the
elements of a project plan, the key input for project plan development, and methods used
in project plan development.
- Apply a project management information system, implement a
work authorization system, conduct mid-project evaluation, identify the information and
supplies needed to control project change, implement a change control system, and identify
control maintenance methods.
- Identify the project management process groups and variables,
differentiate between product-oriented processes and project management processes, and
initiate and plan a project.
- Identify the steps in the executing process group and the
aspects of a project that require control, identify the importance of writing closeout
reports, and identify different methods of project termination and their consequences.
